cat delete pipes vs new o/r mid pipe
Is there a noticeable difference between cat delete pipes versus an off road mid pipe? I'm thinking both replace the catalytic converters, and the mid pipe has more piping thats possibly bigger than stock at 3 inches but I am doubting there being a power/flow difference between the two.

First of all it is illegal to remove the cats from a street driven car. Everybody breathes air. Don't make it any worse. You will absolutely not notice any performance difference. You want to notice something, change rear gears to something lower or actually bolt on some serious horsepower.

Because power is usually considered a relevant factor in racing, and every little bit helps. And that's what the question was about, is power. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt. It's not like he's asking which option will make the exhaust note sound "cooler".

I'm thinking there isn't much benefit to getting the entire mid pipe vs just the cat deletes unless cat deletes require cutting/welding to install (which negates the cost savings if taken to a shop), while the new mid pipe can be done by removing and re-installing bolts.
