Default Cut and clamp resonator delete on 2011 GT

Ive seen tons of people do welded on res. Deletes. But wouldn’t I just be able to get some 2.75in piping and delete them myself with some cutting and clamping? Has anyone done this before and can help me out?

im sure you can but im also sure you'll have a weird exhaust leak noise unless you can PROPERLY clamp the tubes together. also use decent stainless steel, none of that aluminized junk
