This is deals gap. It is a famous road that many sport bikes and autocross cars love to run. It has 318 turns in a 11 mile distance making it a dream to drive. It is US 129 and it is on the tennessee/north carolina border. I am located in knoxville, tennessee which is about 1 hour from deals gap. deals gap is also known as the dragon, the tail of the dragon, and US 129. People come here from all over the country to ride and drive and unite as friends. when you go up there, you can talk to anyone as a friend because your all there for the same thing.

[/align]I decided to take a picture of Laguna Beach at the very up most part of Park Avenue, also known as "Top of the World" to many locals that overlooks part of the Coast. Entered the contest to have the opportunity for the SCT Livewire tuner, since i am unable to afford one being that of a 17 year old Mustang enthusiast.

Laguna Beach is unique in Orange County for its dramatic topography. It includes steep coastal mountains that plunge into the sea and over thirty individual coves and beaches along an 8.5 miles stretch from Three Arch Bay on the south to Crystal Cove on the north. A little history about Laguna Beach would be that the Brooks brothers, William and Nathaniel, arrived and settle in 1876. They were referred as the "father of Laguna", being Laguna Beach's first homesteaders - the first pioneers to stay longer than one summer in a tent. Beauty of Laguna Beach spread nationwide and made hundreds of artists to travel to California. The artists first exhibition in August, 1918 started off with only 300 people on the first day and 2000 the first month. This showing was the beginning of the laguna Beach Art Association and the Museum of Art. Laguna Beach is also home to the internationally known Festival of the Arts - Pageant of the Masters. The first pageant ever held in Laguna was an Indian pagent promoted by Isaac Frazee, called Kitshi Manido, held in the large eucalyptus grove at Sleepy Hollow (corner of Catalina and Arroyo Chico Street). The second Kitshi was held in 1927 in Laguna Canyon on the Boys Club property. Today Laguna Beach continues to be an artistic focal point of Orange County - a major center for arts and crafts.

Blackstar Cayon, located in the northern end of the Santa Ana Mountains in the Clevelan National Forest, was the home to a village of Ancient Native Americans believe to be slaughtered in 1832 by the Spaniards. Orange County historian Jim Sleeper recorded that a massacre of the native residents. In 1878, coal was discovered in the canyon and the Black Star Mining Company was formed. California State Historical Landmark.Along the road there is a historical marker for the village, about 6 miles of hiking. The road is technically "publically owned, but two private residents on the road like to claim it a "private" road and harrass trespassers. I have come to believe that the two private residents, one known as Art Tuttle, became frustrated with all the moron trespassers who disrespect the area, broke into his house, or many other mischievous acts and decided that any trespassers would be harrassed to keep them away. There are tons of goods/bads of Art but i have yet to meet him and i feel no need to meet him. Many people's first impression on the place would be "creepy" or "haunted" but i believe its only creepy to the fact of the crazy/insane private residents. On another note, Black Star Canyon is a really great ride that will give your climbing legs a really good workout and with a reward of a truely great view and a downhill to the very bottom of the trail. Today, Black Star Canyon has become one of the feared places like as of Turnbull Canyon to many people who have yet to visit it and may cause many people to do mischievous things in such an area, for having a reptuation of "haunted" or "creepy".

New Mexico, land of enchantment for a reason. Millions of years of erosion to create many rock structures in the mountains. This one in particular is called "Camel Rock" for obvious reasons. This structure attracts millions of people from near and far to see and photograph this natural structure. Come to New Mexico and marvel at the beauty.

This picture was taken at the highest point around Ceder Lake in Indiana. It attracts a lot of people during the summer and is home to quite a few car shows along its shore. There are also a few NBA players that own homes around the lake. And yes, I was standing in the middle of the street, blocking traffic, when I took the picture. lol

Location: Washington's Crossing State Park, Trenton, NJ

Description: On the night of Dec. 25th, 1776, George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River from Pennsylvania to New Jersey. They marched to Trenton, NJ to fight the Hessians at the Second Battle of Trenton and Princeton. These were the two battles that saved the Continental Army from defeat. They were able to make it through the winter by defeating Hessian troops from Trenton and British troops at Princeton. Without this historic crossing we would not be the country we are today. It is a place of new beginning for a new country.
[/b]
[/b]
Why I chose this place:[/b] Although New Jersey is filled with history and famous places, I thought this is the most famous place of American history in NJ. I live about 25 miles away from this place and it is a beautiful sight. Every Christmas they have a reenactment of the crossing. It starts on the Pennsylvania side and they cross the river in boats just like they used in the war. People come from all over to watch this every year and it is one of the most important parts of the start to our country. There could never be true American Muscle without washington crossing the river giving us America.

I am really hoping I can win some nice rims to go on my car. Im 18 and owe my parents a pretty good chunk of money and I can't afford new rims. I need tires soon and I think it is a waste to buy tires for stock rims when I want new ones. Thanks for looking at my entry.
