Welcome to the forum, Donald! We have a very fair return policy, and we stand behind our products. If you get a product that's broken from the manufacturer, we will either replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer. We'll also pay for shipping the defective part back. Now, if you get a part that's not what you expected, and you're not happy with the way it looks or something along those lines, we'll take it back as long as it's not installed. We'll refund you for it once you ship it back to us, and there's no restocking fee involved. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'm always happy to help.

It's a damn shame they don't sell punctuation at AM. That probably wouldn't work for you either though.

avoid it? nothing they sell is junk (though i wish they would ditch the spec clutches and start carrying centerforce instead...wink wink ). theres ALWAYS going to be defective parts from the factory nomatter what it is and that is out of AMs control, but AM customer service is amazing and they will not leave you hanging with a faulty product, and they would not continue to sell a product that was constantly being returned as faulty.

the only thing i know of thats 45 bucks on their site is the white guage faces. and there is always the possibility that the OP didnt install whatever it was he bought properly (no offence and not to doubt the ops mechanical abilities, but sometimes we all make silly mistakes).
