Hey AM,

I got the BBK headers and the Catted X Pipe from you like 2 months ago, It was installed at a local shop that has a pretty good reputation. Last week suddenly I got a CEL, I took my car to the dealership to have it scanned and the told me that the error codes were p219b and p0300 and they were due to the headers and there was nothing they could do and they the told me that a tune might be necessary. So finally I decided to get a Tuner, but my question is, will the Tune Fix the issue with the O2 sensor getting an imbalance in the A/F ratio? If so, I will order the Tuner and the Intake from you guys.

Gus,

Even using the stock tune, there shouldn't be an Air/Fuel imbalance after installing headers. This code is most likely thrown from an exhaust leak somewhere between the header and cylinder head or header and Xpipe connection. If there's even a small leak at these points, you'll get this code. Also, a p0300 is from a random misfire. This again can be cause from an Air or Exhaust leak.

I would have the exhaust double checked for leaks before doing anything. Purchasing a Bama tune will NOT fix this issue, since it's a mechanical problem.

Again, have a shop smoke test the engine and exhaust. There's most likely a leak somewhere!
