Destroyed Mustang: Aftermarket Community Helps Owner & Tornado Victims
AmericanMuscle urges the Mustang community to show their support for a fellow Mustang owner and all victims of the recent Oklahoma Tornadoes. Contribute now to support the Haden Family and Oklahoma Tornado Victims.
Built Oklahoma Tough
Tornadoes are nothing new to the residents of Oklahoma. On May 20th, 2013 a 2 Mile wide EF5 tornado unexpectedly struck the town of Moore, tragically taking lives and leaving the town in shambles.
Surrounded by devastation, one local Moore resident and Mustang enthusiast caught the nation’s attention and pulled on the heartstrings of those in the Mustang community and everyone here at AmericanMuscle. Amongst the emerging tales, sits one iconic Ford Mustang that reminds the world of the “Built Ford Tough” mantra. The owners of that car, Oklahoma native Jack Haden and his pregnant wife, Stephanie, emerged from the their Tornado shelter to find their New Edge Mustang pinned up against a tree, fighting for its last start up…
After cleaning the debris piled high above their Mustang’s roof, to everyone’s surprise this pony still had some fight left in it. This Mustang started right up. Shown in the video below, the car is in far from pristine condition but nothing can stop this 281 Cubic inch Engine from laying down some rubber.
AmericanMuscle needs your help!
Together we want to show the world how strong the Mustang community is and will leave no Mustang owner behind. AmericanMuscle is pledging the first $500 towards our overall goal of $14,000. Donations will be split 50/50 between the Haden family to recover the cost of their “destroyed” Mustang and the OK Strong Disaster Relief Fund to support long-term needs of the Oklahoma Tornado Victims. Any funds over $14,000 will go towards OK Strong. Together let’s support the Haden’s and the city of Moore, OK.
