Oh yea, no major accidents that I know of. truck is in good shape other than the slight surface rust that's forming on the frame and leaf springs and what not, but a weekend with a wire bursh and can of POR15 would do wonders. Pain job isn't the greatest, bed has some orange peel, couple chips here and there in the paint. I'll throw some more pics up for ya in a bit.

so basically what it needs is some TLC to get it lookin good, some seats ( I can throw in my mustang ricer seats) A stereo, an exhaust ( it actually has 2 cats on it right now, but it's a real ghetto setup that I welded up in like 10 mins, cuz I needed to get an exhaust on it, And that's about it.

OH YEA, Needs a shifter for the transfer case, so you can put it in and out of 4wd. Right now it's in 4hi with the hubs unlocked, so theres no power to the front wheels, but it is constantly spinning the front D shaft so theres more wear on the front U joints and what not. It can be put into 2wd, but ya gotta get under the truck and reach up and try to move the shift shaft by hand, kind of a pain. I left it in 4 cuz it was winter, so all I had to do to go in 4 was lock the hubs. Any questions lemme know.

The thing is beat to hell, and does need some minor work. The exhaust im not worried about. The rust could be a major problem, and work done on or for the car im worried about because i dont know anything about these types of cars. I also would really miss my carbon fiber hood because i was looking to trade it with my newer mustang.

Plus im only 18, and the car is technically my dads, so i il have to talk it over with him, but it does seem like a really cool project car even if i know id be taking a hit considering the worth of the two cars.

Would you possibly be interested in trading your 88 for my 03?

Yea I'd probably be interested. The 88 isn't in the best shape though. Paint job isn't that great, interior isn't all that nice.

And the truck isn't beat to hell really, I've only gone muddin with it once, and it's mostly been a street queen for me. The main problem is the rust, but like I said, some time with a wire wheel and pain and the frame would clean up real nice, and the wheels, well an sos pad would do wonders, but they're still gonna be not too nice afterwards.

well just lemme know, I'd probably be up for trading either one, or both for all I care, I jsut want a new car and these 2 off my hands. Only problem is u live in maryland, so if it was both that'd be a pain to get em out there.

And if I can convince ya anymore by doin some work to em or somethin beforehand lemme know, I'd be glad to fix a few things up.

BTW, on the carbon hood deal, if u still have the stocker I'd take that instead, as long as it was black.

Depends. What kinda shape is it in, what's it got for motor and trans, and where are you located?

I think I'd really rather get somethin new though, although I might make an exception for a 68.
