I stand corrected. You are correct about the Z51 and Z06. I'm not a Corvette guy but Dad was quick to straighten me out.

The LS7 is based on the Gen IV architecture of the current LS motors, which are all small blocks. The physical exterior dimensions of the engines determine if it's a big block or a small block, not displacement. LS7 has the same exterior dimensions as the LS3, LS-A, LS2, etc.

TOUCHE ....The geezers that drive those vettes consider the Z06 the big block car. regardless they make hood plates that show the 427 Logo like the days long past. Interior or exterior measurements aside
