Default Anyone know this car (Arizona 1966 coupe)

Hi all,
I will post up a hello in the new members section later on but I am in a bit of a rush as I am going to look and possible buy this car today.

The car is now in the UK after being exported from Arizona in 2011 Chassis number is 6F07T232712 I only have the UK registration number which is JTR 386D so probably little to no use for this.

It is a 6 cylinder manual coupe in Orange, looks to have been at least partially re-stored before being exported.

When I buy a car in the UK I can carry out a HPi check which will tell me the cars history and importantly if it has been written off (salvage list)

Is there any way I can perform the same check for a cars USA history?

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide and if you do happen to know the car any information would be appreciated.

Tony

Thanks for that but I found Carfax yesterday but it does not recorgnise the chassis number.
I may have more of an idea now as I decided to go ahead and get the car yesterday so I have a bit more paperwork.
The car was actually exported from Colorado, and on one of the spare parts in the trunk was the name and address of the previous owners, so after a quick google it turns out they own a record shop so I have e-mailed them this morning to see what additional information they may have.

Well had a result with this today, whilst looking through the trunk of the mustang I found some spare parts, one of which had a name and address of a customer, so I did a bit of googling and found the person in question owns a record shop in loveland colorado. So found them on facebook and made contact ended up messaging the shop owner, turns out her father owned the car from 1984 he had it all through high school and ended up restoring it and finally selling it in 2011 which is when it was exported to the UK.
Im really pleased gives me close to 30 years of the cars history in my forst day of searching.
