2 10's setup question
 

Has anyone removed their back seats and put subs in their place? I have a vert so I can't just fold the back seats down like you hard top people do. I am actually going to remove the back seats with a rear seat delete and put a 10 in the spot where each seat used to be facing straight up and have the amp sitting in the middle of the two subs. Has anyone ever done this? Is there enough room to box off for the subs to get a descent sound in this area? Any advice I can get would be awesome and if I could get pics that would be even better.

I think in that scenario you'd be better off with a downfiring or slot-loaded enclosure. You'd basically build the same box, but turn it over and elevate it so there's about a 2" gap underneath. Then you can pile stuff on top, the subs are protected and it will reduce any audible distortions from the woofer cones. Should be plenty of area for 2 10s. Expect the enclosure to stick up a good 8-10" though.
