Alpine CDA-9857 + iPod, seach button doesn't work
 

Okay, I know this isn't Mustang related at all (other than the fact that it's in my Mustang), but I don't know any better place to ask so I figured I'd see if anyone here had experienced this issue or had any ideas.

Anyway, title says it all, I just got a CDA-9857 and iPod adapter for my car. Everything seems to work fine and if I plug in my iPod it picks up playing wherever the music had left off when I was last using my iPod. However, when I press the search button on the left to try to browse through artists, albums, playlists, etc, the button doesn't do anything. I know the button itself works because I've pressed it for other things, but it wont bring up my iPod navigation. Any ideas?

Nevermind, got back in the car to go somewhere and it works now *shrug*. Oh well, as long as it works.

I think it might have had something to do with being the first time I had ever plugged in an iPod to the HU.
