Default Center Channel Speaker in 06GT

Looking to find a way to have a center channel speaker in my 06 GT for my new DVD deck. Anyone done anything like this with theirs or have any advice, opinions, etc.?

I thought about taking the CDC 3 Gauge Pod and making some fiberglass molding to hold a center channel speaker in mine.

I was thinking of something similar. Maybe having someone mold a nice fiberglass encloser to fit in the center on top of the dash. Not too many options that i can see.

I was thinking about this as well after putting the dvd player in. While the dash was apart I looked and there is plenty of room available for a speaker to exist there - now it's just a matter of cosmetics and how you want it to look from the top.

if you really wanted to be a baller you could get a couple tweeters molded to fit in the roof and have a center channel port cut in-between the ac vents in the dash. then you could put some kind of speaker grill over it or something with the pony emblem to make it look more classy. wiring the tweeters would be a b**** but well worth it in the end. that would give you a more realistic surround sound feel for both movies as well as music.

do you have a single din DVD unit or double din?...if single din you could use this Alpine: Alpine...if you have a single din you can mount it underneath the flip-out...if you have double din...pioneer, eclipse, and alpine all have center channels that mount flat on the top of the dash facing toward the windshield...or you can have whatever you want custom mounted

It's a double din unit. I'll have to check out those center channel's. I'll eventually replace the stock speakers with infinity's so i'd really like to have an infinity center if they make one.
