Default Selling Eight 8's / Amp / Cap

Hey guys, I'm selling my contour so I figure it's time to sell the system as well. These things pound LOUD, the only issue I know of is the four speakers on the bottom have their dustcaps wrinkled up a bit from the wife throwing crap in the trunk.

up for sale is the following:

Eight Aura RPM Series 8" Subs
Custom box which I built from 3/4 MDF and had professionally carpeted
Kicker KX800.4 amp - 800 watts RMS, 4 Channels
1.25 or 1.5 farad capacitor with voltage display on top (its behind the box and I can't remember which size it is).
I'll throw in one of those fuseholders with the big fuses that bolt down - can't remember what style thats called but they are the best kind of fuse to use.

500 bones takes it. Im located 1.5 hours north of Tampa and 1.5 hours north west of Orlando. I also have a Kicker half din EQ that I will sell along with the amp/subs for 50.00

wow, someone else who actually knows what these are

they could fit, but you'd have to build a different box and surrender your entire trunk to speakers

Aren't all the Aura subs aluminum cone?

And... Aren't they the company that invented "bass shakers"? I still laugh over those...

only the new subs are aluminum cone - www.aurasound.com - they look so badass.

yes the make the bass shakers as well as.....
hummer powered 120v generators capable of producing clean enough power for running computer equipment for the military (cant do that with a regular generator)
oem speakers for tv's and such
studio speakers, 18" woofs used in concert halls and such.

they dont go for the 87 lb. magnet crap, they use expensive (and stronger) neodynium (sp?) magnets like the ones used in high end tweets.

VERY good stuff they make

Magnet size is meaningless. A driver will have an optimun Bl. It depepnds whether it's low or high.

yes magnet size is meaningless - its the strength of the field it generates that makes a difference. but if you can shave 20 pounds off a speaker by using a higher quality magnet it will help keep your car light and your butt wont be sagging
