Default Autometer Air Fuel Ratio Gauge

Hello,

I would like to know if anybody knows how to do the wiring for the autometer air fuel ratio gauge. Specifically I would like to know to which wire in the O2 sensor do I need to connect the signal wire of the Air fuel ratio gauge. Also since the car has more than one O2 sensor, is there a common signal coming from both o2 sensors, or will I just have to connect the gauge to one of the O2 sensors only. Please do let me know if you happen to know which is the correct wire to connect to coming out of the O2 sensor.

Thanks for your help in advance!

don't worry with tappin it under the car at the sensor, tap at the ecu - gotta choose which side you want - only can get 1 side. some folks wire a switch in so they can monitor both sides but why bother with a a/f since all its gonna be is a rich/lean gauge. can't tell you what color unless you tell me the year. I'd just google it you'll find a how-to pretty easily

Thanks for the information.

The car is a 2004 Mach 1. I will search in google and see if I can find more information.

Thanks

If you really need to monitor your ratio, your better off with a wide band sensor. It will give you the exact air-fuel ratio. I dont think that gauge is really worth it, but it's up to you.

Your air to fuel ratio is all computer done. All the sensor will do is go back and foward when idling, green when you accelerate, and red when you slow down. I installed one and it serves no functional purpose. But it sure looks nice.

I went all the way to the cat for my install and it works well. I havent had a problem with it at all.
