Amplifier question pro's needed!!!

Okay so i have this amp:

and these subs:

What should be my settings for the knobs on the amp? I already have my wiring kit in and have my old subs in but amp's are where im not good at all I know is to match Ohm's and what Watts mean other then that im lost can any tell me what the settings on my amp need to be?

Thank you in advance!

That is an intersting setup. Did best buy tell you to match that equipment?

Good rules of thumb are to eliminate bass boost, set the low pass to around 150-200hz and set your gains using a multimeter.

If you don't have a multimeter, you can set them by ear, but it doesn't seem like you have a lot of expereince to properly do it.

If you want to atttempt by ear.
Turn the gain all the way off, turn the radio as loud as you would play it, then turn the gain up until it starts to distort the sub. Back off the gain a little and you should be good to go.

you really have the wrong subs for that amp. with those speakers you can get a 4 ohm mono load(lower power but safe), or a 1 ohm mono load(not safe for the amp), and your amp is made to run ideally at a 2 ohm load. Two of the same speakers with a single voice coil configeration would have been better.....

Those are svc 4 ohm drivers.

You have the right anp for your subs.
Your mono amp will work best with a 2ohm load.
With your two single voice coil 4ohm subs wired in parallel (+ to + and - to -) you will get a 2ohm load.

well thats why i bought the infinity from what i know about amps (which isn't much but i do have some experience) it seemed right for my subs i mean im sure there could have been a better matchup but i get discounts at best buy so im buying an amp from there reguardless but the infinity seemed to fit my needs fr those subs.

one last questions if its wired at 2 ohms.. and the amp puts out 600watts rms at 2 hohms is that too much? i know the sonys subs rms say 380
is this ok?
