09 Bullitt electrical issue
 

A friend of mine ha an 09 Bullitt mustang. He recently installed a Pioneer video headunit in the car. Unfortunatly, due to some questionable wire routing, he severed the mic cable with the steering wheel. He has a new one on order, direct replacement. Now, however, the car gives a tire pressure sensor fault whenever he drives it. Now, my gut feeling is that it's a ground problem related to the mic being cut. I hate to go into these things blind though, so I thought maybe someone here could shed some light on the situation....

Stupid question but does he have the factory wheels on there?

Have you guys checked the tire pressure?

Have you guys tried to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it?
