Infinity Kappa's ?
 

ok so my installer suggested i get some Infinity comps, i've heard infinity's before my dad has some in his truck but, i wanna know are they good quality and do they sound crisp and clear? he's gonna replace my door speakers and rear deck speakers, price range? around $200 or $250 but dont be scared to post anything cheaper if u know anything cheaper and better.

what happened? i rememeber this place used to be the best place to get car audio help, did i forget to include anything? please help me lol

I've got a pair of 6x8 infiniti kappa's in the doors on my F250 powerstroke and they are pretty clear and crisp, plenty of bass, and don't cut out at higher volumes. I'm not even running an amp to them either. I did have one go out a few months after I purchased it though. I still need to replace it.

Infinities are a love-em or hate-em speaker. The tweeter on them is WAY too rich for my tasts and tends to make my ears bleed after long periods......

i see that its died down alot since the last time i was here, but thanx for the replies, i'll probably end up getting them, probably their Perfect series i guess, anything is better than these stockers and the eminences' i have right now.

I would really really REALLY recomend listening to them before you buy them. The tweeter is super rich and you either love them or will make you want to get out of your car......
