Time for new subs.

To make a long story kinda short. I used to have two 12in pioneer premier subs they wasnt enough for me so i upgraded to two 15in diamond d3's and i had a hard time mounting them in the stang so i took them out and bought a custom sealed sub box that holds two 12in subs and has 1.39 air space per chamber so im lookin for a good set of 12s for the box that will hit pretty damn hard i have a 2000watt mono amp i think its a power acoustics amp so what my best bet on some subs im not looking to spend a whole lot maybe ebay is my best bet here?

anyone??? i need something soon!!!

What is the model number of the amp.

Power acoustiks are generally grossly overrated. I also need to verify the amps power rating at various resisitances to verify it is one ohm stable.

Building a ported enclosure for the pioneers would be a lot louder then it used to be and be the cheapest option.

A single high quality 12 in a properly built enclosure can get very very very loud...

This is the amp. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...F2000-1D-.html

It is 1ohm stable and i have a sealed encloser theres just no way around it because i bought a sub box prebuilt for the mustang and i dont have my pioneers anymore.

that amp prob does around 600-800rms@1ohm with a stock electrical if you are lucky.

if you can give me the box dimensions i can run it through bass box pro and see if you can port it using a single 4" aero port.

i think the best thing to do would be sell your box and then get a single subwoofer rated around what power you do have and then make a ported box. too bad you arent in socal i have a box that would be perfect for you lol.

you can try these

This is the exact same box http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...sQ5fEnclosures

I was thinking about getting two cheap pioneer W303Rs and being done with it lol

I just put one of the 187's mentioned above in my old pathfinder I sold to my cousin and it is a GREAT entry level woofer.

Stay away from cheap pioneers. You can do way better for the money.

nice choice on a sub any pics of the install?

op i can make you a set of 12s that will work great in your box but need a tad more power than 300rms each.
id be looking at 200+s/h for them. they will be great subwoofers i promise :)

it will be using this exact motor

I wouldn't use any pioneer audio equipment. I have two 5x6 pioneers in my doors and my cheaper clarion speakers are louder and more clear than them. :/

I went with a digital design sub and was pretty happy.
