Alpine Type R's, suggestions?

So I'm getting 2 12" Alpine Type R's, at 4ohms, 600w RMS, 1800 peak.

Amp wise I'm looking to spend ballpark, about 200.
From what I've seen and heard my best bet would be to go with this amp here,
http://www.amazon.com/Hifonics-Hfi10.../ref=pd_cp_e_1

Anyone have any personal experience, or know of a better amp to go with in my price range?

Thanks!

My first advice would be to swell the type R's and buy something else. You won't take that advice I'm sure so my next advice is planet audio. Their amps are usually under rated, don't over heat, and sound great.

The type R's can be made to sound decent. The only problem is that you need to shoe horn the proper sized ported enclosure into a tiny trunk that poses all kinds of box building and placement difficulties. After doing so, forget accessing the spare or carrying anything more than a loaf of bread and a pair of pair of tennis shoes in the trunk.

EDIT: To the OP. If you must go Hifonics, I highly recommend the Brutus (BRZ1200.1D) over their HIFI line.

The key word there is that after all that effort making a box large enough to fit, they will still only sound "decent"

What sub/amp setup would you reccomend for my 06 mustang then?
I'm not worried about trunk space, or the spare.

I just want the biggest bump I can get.
Price range being under 500 for subs/amp/enclosure.

I'd also like dual 12"s, if possible.

I have a 12" boston G5 in a sealed box with an alpine mrp-m500 amp and love it. I used to have two 12" type r's in my grand am before my stang and my new setup blows the old one out of the water. My type r's were a little underpowered but I still needed a massive box that left me with literally no trunk space. I don't even think you could fit a box to specs in a mustangs trunk. Also, check your local section of craiglist, thats where I got my current setup for a good deal. You just need to make sure you inspect it for damage and testing it out before you buy is a must.

I'm a fanboy of kicker subs and planet audio amps, as i am sure every one has there favorite brands, but they are what i prefer. you can get 2 cvx 12's and a 2000 watt planet audio amp for about $415. then the rest for the box.

these are my l5's, ported box, with the 2000 watt i mentioned. it bangs.
