What's up everybody! I just want to confirm this about the battery guard wiring to the ignition wire. The location of that wire is at the ignition wire harness at the steering wheel right it should be red with a light green stripe? Only reason I'm asking is because YELLOW is Connect to 12v Ignition. Hot only in run
position and not in accessory position. I know there are two more ignition wires at the steering wheel which threw me off... Oh yeah it going in a 04 Mustang base model

that is not a supply wire, so you do not really need to tap the steering hrns as the only reason to get it there is to get a larger gauge wire that can supply more current. I got mine at the radio ignition/accesory wire - does the same thing. I do not know the wire color as I use my meter to test the wire to be sure that it works as it should.

I'm not talking about the relay (SPR-200) I'm talking about the battery monitor (BG12) here are the instructions. Wait... does that work the same way?

I know, same thing I wired in. Like I said the ignition wire on the radio will work for you.
