Default Help with choosing the best subwoofer/amp for my mustang

Well I have decided that the shaker 500 system is just simply not enough bass for me while I speeding down I-64.

Any suggestions for a good setup to put in my pony?

Kicker solorbaric are some of the best for the money I think. I had a 12" L5 in my wife's Jetta and it was more then enough bass. I had to lay the back seat down to cut down on the rattle. Shoul give you all you need in the stang.

It depends on how much you want to spend, the more you spend, usually the better it sounds. If you really want it to sound good replace the stock paper speakers and amp them as well as a sub and amp. A good HU will also help!
Tell me a price range and I can give some better recommendations.

Better be careful on 64 with all the damn potholes and stuff you could end up airborne.

I have on 05 and got rid of my shaker 500 3 yrs ago.

Replaced the Shaker 500 head unit with a Pioneer AVICZ 920 bt.

All speakers subs and amps are Memphis Audio. Front door sub and speakers were replaced by a pair of MCC8 Midbass component speakers, the tweeters were removed and custom mounted where the door speakers used to be. The rear speakers are now a pair of MC 692 6x8 (or 9 can't remember). In the trunk, two 12 inch MCP12D4 subwoofers in a custom box. For the Amps I have a PR 4X50 and a PR 1X1000 mounted in the trunk in a false floor where the spare tire used to be.

The sound quality with the Memphis Audio gear is absolutely amazing.

JL W6 or if it's your priority is bass then the W7. It's not as good on mids but it gets lower than 8th st latinas. They are pigs though as far as weight esp the W7. If I ever convinced myself to add weight to an already heavy car I would go with the W6 for all around good sound.
