2012 base stereo upgrade parts questions

2012 base stereo upgrade parts questions
If I am uprading the base 4-speaker stereo on a 2012 V6 with these items:
Pioneer AVH-X2500BT DVD DD Head unit
Metra 99-5823CH Dash Kit
Metra 40-CR10 Antenna Adapter
PAC C2R-FRD1 Wiring harness
(I have already purchased a Boss 302 Alacantara steering wheel with audio controls)
My questions are...
1. Is there a cheaper wiring harness than the PAC C2R-FRD1?
2. Do I need an AXXESS or PAC steering wheel control device to make the steering wheel controls work, or does the PAC C2R-FRD1 take care of that?
3. Do I need some type of "bypass" device to have everything work without the parking brake on?

EDIT: Looks like the proper wiring harness is the Axxess XSVI-5521-NAV (?)

If you do a sub check this one out! Its cheaper then the JL Audio stealth box, or the Kicker system. Its deep enough to handle Rockford T2 or Memphis audio HOJO. I like it a lot!
