Anyone used this radio install kit?
Will probably be installing a new stereo in our new 2014 GT convertible. We got the base model with no synch so no bluetooth. Saw this install kit and thought it looked really cool and was wondering if anyone had used this and what they thought of it. It is the Metra 99-5826CH Ford Mustang 2010-Up DIN/DDIN Dash Installation Kit. Here is a link to Amazon showing what it looks like.
For anyone that has used it or something similar how hard was the climate controls to hook up or is it just a couple of plug ins.
Thanks.

I have that kit in my car. It's very easy to install, I think there's only one harness for the climate controls. It also has three switches built in that can control relays. The only things I don't like about it are the quality and size of the LCD screen. I would check out the kit - it looks better IMO.

I have the non-touchscreen metra kit, I like it quite a bit. but I think if I were to get a new one I would go with the maestro idatalink MUS kit. if you get a kenwood it can show car information and climate control in the dash, plus it puts the radio higher in the dash so to me that is a plus.
