Shaker 500 Dead Battery, Removed Disc Changer
 

Hello!
This is my first post on this forum.
My wife's 2007 Mustang GT Shaker 500 6-Disc changer went out.
It did the whole shuffling thing when you opened/closed the doors, etc., and it ran the battery down.
I removed the disc changer from the HU and pulled the ribbon from the control board and re-installed the HU.
We charged the battery back and things have been fine until now (about 1 week) and the battery was dead again this morning.
My question: Would this continue to drain the battery in some way, with the changer removed?
