2001 Convertible Audio
I have a 2001 that needed new tunes... This was a free to me flood car that water got to the factory stereo & killed it... So, time to upgrade and build up.
First was the head unit.. I like JVC so I picked up a decent one from Amazon..
Next i upgraded the stock speakers to Pioneer 3 way's. That made a huge difference but couldn't hear with the top down.. Time for some bass...
My wife hates the car.. So nobody rides in the back seats.. Can't really fit back there with the driver seat all the way back so, who needs rear seats...
Built a box for 2 Pyle 15's and pushing them with a Boss 1600 watt amp... I'm finally happy with the sound now.. The amp has a bass control **** so with it all the way down its like a stock stereo with a tiny bit of bass and all I need to shake the car apart is 1/2 bass ... I'm happy.... That's all that matters..LOL
Now, What have you guys done to your rides to set em apart in the audio department??
