if you feel up to it you can disassemble the face of the head unit and see if the light bulb is blown.

Pull it out and look for the screws holding it together.Just be careful the factory units arent exactly built with quality in my opinion.

could you explain step by step how to do that, i have my stock CD player.......I tried this afternnon without luck, Im affraid i will break it.</P>
