RE: Bullitt on nitrous?
not true. i've been researching for a month naw. maqazines, mecanics, internet and as long as u get the tools for the shot to b safe. like bottle heater, blanket. arm switch, wot , keep it at 100 or under, use colder spark plugs, purge kits, rpm cut off switch, preasure gauge, a dyno tune on your car with a programer. not to mention somone thats knows what hes doing. you'll b fine. people blow there engines cuz they miss a gear and aint got the cut off switch or never properly tune it and kean or turn out to rich. things like this. i'm getting a zex or nx kit for mine. i got 270 rwhp. i hope to get another 100 with the shot.

dude-don't do that to your Bullitt! I do not care how careful you are, you will shorten the life of your 2V! It is by far the cheapest HP but maintaining the bottle, filling it and getting it set up are not worth it in the end. How many times you gonna be in a situation to use it? On the dyno just to claim higher HP numbers or on the track? Forget it on the streets if another Stang pulls up and wants to run from a light.....what will you tell him? Hold on while I warm my bottle and purge? Skip it man......cars set up for the drag strip start from the bottom end up and blue print an engine designed for a nitrous setup. Our 4.6s are not-too weak of a bottom end and your messing with a limited production car that your making a change to that cannot be reversed-think it through before you pull the trigger.
