I just got a 2001 Mustang Bullitt in the True Blue color. There are some cosmetic things that I need to replace from the guy that traded it in at the dealership. The guy put blue window tinting on it which I think looks hideous. Also he added some stupid hi performance 289 badges below the GT badging (and drilled into the fender!!!!!!!). How do I fix this? I am wondering if I take the hi performance badging off and replace them with the GT badges that are above it. Do the OEM GT badges have pins on the back that are drilled into the fender from the factory?

The car has 86,000 miles on it and shows the wear and tear on the driver seat, steering wheel, etc. The car is my weekend car (drive a truck during the week).

Let me know what I need to be on the lookout for.

Welcome to the bullitt family! Unfortunately this sub section is a little slow. Try imboc.com! Sucks that he drilled into those fenders, just take em stat! I have a black bullitt that I love. You could Also find a lot of answers in the 4.6 general section as well.

Hey man!
CRASH is right on target. IMBOC is an awesome forum for the Bullitt guys. This is a good all around Mustang forum.
How to remedy the fender badges depends entirely upon where the holes are located. Note: the car had two holes in each fender where the badges go.

BTW, get rid of the 289 badges now matter what! The motor is a 281 so it doesn't even make any sense to put it on there.
