What mid pipe are you running? Can you run the stock bullitt h-pipe?

You can run the stock mid-pipe with any of the cat-back systems.
The factory cats will absolutely dampen the loudness of whatever mufflers you install. An O/R mid-pipe will result in quite a loud system if you use straight thru mufflers like SLP or Borla.

Sound quality is a completely subjective attribute.

I just got an 01 Bullitt and it came with 2 40 series and sounds good but I am looking for a cat back exhaust system. Is there a difference between the 44 and 40's?
