Tearing up tires
I have a 1966 I6 coupe. I changed it over to a 289. I changed all steering, suspension, spindles, hubs, and rear end. I have had the alignment done by Big0 and they have no clue as to why I am tearing through front tires every 3000 miles. I need an idea of where to go from here. I have a huge virbration at 60 - 70 MPH. Does anyone know a good classic Mustang shop in the Sacramento area that needs a challenge. Thanks G

As for where to go in Sac. I cant help you, but if you check out http://www.sacramentoareamustang.org they might be able to point you in the right direction.
If I had to guess 1. The tires arnt ballanced correctly, 2. The brakes are malfunctioning and causting the brakes to lock up at a certin speed (60, 70 MPH) where you are getting the vibration, or 3. Your front suspention is shot...
Good luck,
Matthew
