Default Long Cruise/ Day Trip 1/22

Ok, so its the new year and I am setting the date for a long cruise/day trip.

About a year ago I saw OCLandspeeders thread about his long cruise:

https://mustangforums.com/forum/membe...-in-socal.html

then I went and did my own in the truck:

https://mustangforums.com/forum/membe...ml#post6766836

so I cant wait to get the car back from Vortech and to celebrate I want to do a long cruise. I know this will not be something everyone will want to do, only people who love driving thier Mustang will wanna do this. Thats ok, I had fun when it was just me so Im thinking even if its 5 to 10 people at the most we will have fun. So far I have 4 people including myself and one maybe signed up.

We can all meet at BNB park or somewhere around here in the cities around 7 or 8(try to start early). Then we will head out and start the route. Go to lunch and then head back, we can meet at the end of our route then head whatever way we need to go home.

So far I have a few ideas as to where we can go, anza borrego like in OCLandspeeders post, or head north like I did around Bakersfield. I will work on a route and a place to have lunch, but I just wanted to get the basics and date out so everyone that wants to go can make plans for it.

As you can see from my pictures and OCLandspeeders pictures, the idea is for great scenery and to be able to open up your Mustang

So if you wanna come and your free one the 22nd let me know. post which route youd like to do do and Ill make it official when I get everyones choice and see which is prefered.

uh... 400 miles is a a little too ambitious for me. Especially the 200 miles of 2 lane mountain roads.

ok so a lot of people on other forums are complaining about the distance. and the only place we would be able to do is mesa grande rd. seems like we can get a pretty good cruise going here if we cut down the distance. Im thinking we could change it to a decker canyon cruise or a ortega canyon cruise. both arent that far so hopefully we can have more people come.

what do you guys think?
