HELL'S GATE RUN - MAY 7th, 2011
HELL’S GATE MUSTANG RUN – SATURDAY, MAY 7, 2011
CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF THE GREATER VANCOUVER MUSTANG ASSOCIATION
It was the spring of 1981 when the GVMA was formed. To celebrate a very successful 30 years,
we're organizing a cruise. In the true spirit of the Ford Mustang, all Mustang owners are welcome
to join the cruise.
Destination is HELL'S GATE , up the Fraser Canyon. Yep….This one is going to be different.
We’re leaving the Schoolhouse A&W at 8:30am sharp.
Another group will be at the 200th and 86th Tim Hortons (departing at 8:40am),
joining the first group on Highway 1.
Some may wish to join in at 232nd interchange, but be ready to roll.
We’ll stop for a short while at the A&W in Hope, continue along Highway 1 to HELL'S GATE
and should arrive before 12:00 noon.
We’re going to make parking arrangements right out front and there is lot’s to do:
*For a fee, the Tram will take you right down to the Fraser River.
There is the Fudge Factory, Fisheries Exhibit, Simon’s Café,
a Gift Shop; or maybe you just want to hang around your car.
We’ll spend a couple of hours at HELL'S GATE and then head back to the Lower Mainland.
If you can’t make the whole trip, consider the cruise to Hope, or maybe just out into the valley.
To avoid disappointment, remember to arrive at the departure points early as we plan to leave on time.
