Studs......But I also had that area re-enforced. Check the weight of the TV and match the mount. Either the instructions with the TV or mount will let you know if you have to re-enforce the area with 2x6/2x8s between the studs.

Dan,i have a 60 in the living room and a 55 in game room both wall mounted, the mount will come with lag bolts, make sure you hit studs, there will be plenty of adjustment side to side with the mount, hit as many studs as you can

Make sure you use a level when marking and pre-drill your holes. The instructions will tell you what bit to use....It's important to drill so you don't split the stud.

Looks like the TV only weighs 50lbs. This is most likely going to be the new TV.

I love quarterly bonuses =).

I'll do some more research on wall mounts.

50 lbs.......No issues.....Get a good 100 lbs rated mount ($80-$120) and mount it in the studs.

Damn, that thing is really growing on me. I don't know if it's small tweaks they've done or what but it looks so aggressive.

I was gonna say I have a wall mount in the closet I've never used that you could have, but it says it only goes up to 60", so you'd have to downsize the TV, haha. They aren't too pricey though.

LOL no downsizing! I think I'm not going to wall mount it, it seems the optical audio input and one of the HDMI inputs are extremely difficult to access when wall mounted on the TV I want. Appreciate the offer though.

Also back to 15 Mustang, yeah it's been growing on me every new picture. Especially Competition Orange, if only they would offer gotta have it green again. In 3 years I plan to have one.
