Allentown, we would be honored to have you join us in our little party. We are planning on leaving the Hickory area around 8:00. That will allow us plenty of time to get to Asheville, meet the crew from NC Stangs and prepare for a great day of mountain driving.

If it is OK with the group we will meet at Starbucks or Bojangles at Exit 125 in Hickory. It is an easy off, easy on.

We have all the major hotel chains local to the area. I will be glad to help anyone that needs a room with a reservation at either the Crowne Plaze - $85 or Quality Suites - $65 (I think). Our company puts people up at both. I would need to call either one and they will hold a room for you.

Please invite anyone you would like to, this is open to all. I may have met this guy at the Coyote Cruise at Mustang Week. I met a young couple from the Columbia area that drove a Sterling Grey 2011 GT. Please invite them to join in.

I wish I could be there...I'll be in College Park, MD on the 15th fulfilling part of my goal to attend every Clemson football game this season.

To get everyone excited for the trip, here is a picture of my last trip through.

I had just finished building this car for my father and had it tuned on lowboost to 508whp/398wtq the day before this picture was taken:

I know it's a Honda, but it is RWD, it is 500whp and my old man likes small convertibles that handle like go-karts I know.

I will say, it was a great day to ride through the Gap with the top-down!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it for the group run, but I'm hoping to get down there early next spring!

Chris, I hate to hear that. We were looking forward to meeting you. Hopefully next time. Or, maybe we will take a cruise up to PA and see you and the rest of the AM gang.

That little rocket looks like it was fun to drive.

If you have never been to the area, it would DEFINITELY be worth it!

There is a thousand miles of great roads and camping locations here in PA and in the spring, there is no better place to be!

You should make the trek up for our show, next year!

How many group runs do ya'll make a year? Just one or fall and spring?

Sounds like an awesome meet. I plan to be there and will probably bring the wife as well. I'm from Greenville, SC which is about 1.5 hours to Patton Avenue in Asheville. I'll keep an eye on the thread for the details.
