OK another update...

I just stopped by Shanes to see if there would be a problem with us filling their lot with Mustangs and they gave me a deer in the headlights look...

It seems that 1PM is their busy time of the day, so to accommodate a large group might be a bit chancy. They asked if we can move the time back a bit. 3:30 is their slow time, so they would absolutely love it if we could come in about that time and liven the place up a bit.

So, now we should have things finalized: April 7, 2012, Shaynes Rib Shack, 5811 Poyner Village Parkway, BLDG 101 Suite J1, Raleigh NC 27616 at 3:30 PM.

I'm guessing a group of about 20, but if we have more than that it shouldn't be a problem. Also, they have no problems with us pushing all the tables together so that we can all socialize without having to shout across the room at each other.

Is everyone OK with that?

Like they say in Russia, "Sounds good to me".......Although, I've noticed that it sounds different when they say it.

Sounds good to me. Maybe we could hit the cruise-in first and then head over?

Lets say "Someone" was coming from Raeford, what time would that "Someone" have to be there to link up and attend?

If that "someone" wanted to do the Atlantic Ave Char-Grille cruise in, he would be invited to get there as the festivities start at 2PM. If not, he could just pop in to Shaynes at 3:30. Either way would work.

ok so who all wants to do the cruise-in?

Alan, do you want to meet up somewhere and ride up together? I assume you're taking 40.

Well since that "someone" now knows there is an invite and timeline, I believe he will try to make it by 2PM.
