Default Sway Bar Opinions?

Okay, so I was just looking for some opinions on this. I did well in the MF Fantasy Football League this year and ended up with a $300 gift card for a set of Hotchkis Sway Bars (it's like 50% off).

I'm planning on pulling the trigger on them, but is this something that I can do alone? By alone, I mean without other suspension mods. They are adjustable, but the part that scares me is how stiff they are. The lowest setting is 45% stiffer than is stock on a GT500. Maybe there is no reason to be fearful of it, but I just wanted to make sure I'm not going to end up with a rock solid suspension to the point that I'll feel a penny on the road. I love feeling the road, but there is a happy medium between performance and comfort.

Worst case is you buy them, don't like, sell them for 75% of the cost, and you've made another 150$.

Those are some super thick bars (biggest on the market i think) and will definitely stiffen your car up.
I was looking at buying this setup as well, but after investigating the stock sway bar sizes for the 2011+ i opted out.

After reading the link Alan provided, i will agree...proper setup from sway bar thru spring, shock, tire and rim is key. It's one of the reasons i was hoping to stay with 19's

It's going to be stiff, very stiff, even at the 1st setting.
If you make it Sat, you are welcome to drive my car and feel what that setup is going to be close to (minus the 45%)

IMO, Hotchkis makes some really good stuff, but i think they are geared towards weekend racing setups more than street applications, daily driving or weekend cruising

Yeah, I'm definitely going to pull the trigger on them when I get a bit of extra money, it's too good of a deal to let pass. I'm just hoping it's something I can end up using, even if it is in conjunction with some other suspension mods down the road. Thanks for the help everyone. That other thread was really insightful.
