We are about as diverse as you could possibly imagine. But, we love cars (especially Mustangs) and we have formed an interesting family (if I can use that word). We don't make all of the events but try to keep things moving around so that everyone can participate. I do hope you can make some of the upcoming events. I doubt many of us have the stamina to do what JJ and Jennie did but am really happy they made the trip. We always put family first, Jason had his in-laws come into town this past weekend and made sure to be there for them. Steve and I will miss next week's events for family.

I know it is a long drive, but miles in a Mustang are fun miles. And you would get to convoy with a few great looking cars. We do have nude beaches in Lenoir where genies hand out wishes, cash, beer, good red wine and bacon wrapped bacon. And you will get to meet at least one of the Steves. Could you ask for anything more?

It happens. lpcard drove around 4 hours just for food. I've done 3.5. I may make this one, that's the week before our vacation so it will help when asking the boss as jayman put it.

AND, we get to park in Mustang Alley. When was the last time anyone saw a 1969 Boss 429 survivor. We saw one last cruise-in, 60,000 miles and all original.

It's even cooler when some fool thinks they're going to mess up our convoy and we have to send our enforcer after em..

I'm not as poetic or well spoken as Alan or John but they got to the truth of the matter. It is like a family and each gathering is like a family reunion. We travel to help each other turn wrenches or lend whatever help is needed.

Please don't speak of the land rover incident.........2nd scariest moment i've had in my car so far. Maybe our enforcer should invest in brakes next to go along with the stripes and supercharger.

That damn Land Rover. You know, it's no big deal if you mingle into the convoy, but when you straight up cut the me off then use your blinker I have a problem.

What was number one, when the lady tried to drive me off the road in Raleigh. LOL

charleston? best place ever. we go as much as we can. its my vacation of choice. but i love civil war stuff. if your not a huge civil war/history guy then charleston losses some points. but the downtown and beach still rocks.

as far as my comment, i know what goes on and why, at least i have some idea. its just i thought that the people who go to these where somewhat local to the event site. i had no idea people where driving across the state almost.

i like to drive my car too so ill have to come out one of these times. i will admit, i dont have the gumption to drive all day tho. ill need to wait for a somewhat local event.

its amazing to see the friendships you guys have formed. thats pretty cool for sure. im all about that. ill need to meet you guys.
