Red velvet cake...I was talking to one of the guys at work this morning..about it. I'm not sure how we got on the topic but he's from the south and isn't a fan. I was born and raised elsewhere (we didn't have red velvet cake in PA) and I think it's the best cake EVER!

and no, we're not using it for target practice!!! That's just fortune cookies.

Bobby Flay Scrapple recipe

Ingredients
1 pork heart
1 pound meaty pork ribs or bones
2 pounds pork liver
4 cups roasted cornmeal
2 1/2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper

YUM-YUM!

im from Philly, and scrapple was a staple. mmm mmm. dont eat it but once a year, but how can all that crap taste so good??

-1 on red velvet cake. that is made with dead beetles or something. dont make me bust out some facts. its true.

i think its funny that im opposed to cake that uses bugs to make that color, but i love scrapple that probably has actual poop in it.

Not a fan of eating organs, but hey to each his own. In the south livermush is king - ground liver, corn meal, spices, our version of scrapple.

The cake isn't made from dead beetles, the red colorant is.

My "how can you not like" is Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream. That has to be the best ice cream I have ever tasted.

How could you not like.............the sound of your exhaust in a Blue Ridge Parkway tunnel.

When you're exhaust is too quiet and all the 5.0 Mustangs around you drown your 4.6 out... not my car.. just saying, it could happen..:icon_spitball:
