Tarps aren't bad. Its large rolls of industrial plastic you should worry about. I am most definitely a yes. Too bad about the pigeons. Shotguns and moving targets bring a whole new level of excitement you can't get with rifles, unless its a really big one.
Maybe for laughs we can get John to bring one of his kids. I've got a side by side 10 ga. Put a 3.5" turkey load in the chamber and everyone get behind the line of fire. JK that would be kinda mean, the bruise gets pretty bad.
Do we want to have everyone bring ammo for their guns and trade off? Rifles start to get pricey.

If you are bringing a weapon I would suggest that you bring the ammo for it. As for shooting other weapons i don't mind sharing ammo, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to bring a box of that caliber you would like to shoot.
I will have two 5.56mm rifles and one .308 (don't worry about ammo for those I will bring enough), one 9mm, one .40, two .45's and one .38 special. I plan to bring at least 100 rounds per pistol.

I can bring the Mosin with enough 7.62x54R for one peasant to make it through WW2, the Saiga that can take both .223 and 5.56 NATO with a couple of hundred rounds, the Arisaka T-30 with 50 rounds of 6.5 Japanese ammo which should be enough for everyone to take a shot at it (see what I did there? ), and a .22 Marlin 60 that is a tack driver. If you want to learn how to shoot, Hunter, the Marlin is the one you want to learn on. I have plenty of green box .22 ammo for it, and .22 is cheap so we can always go get more.
For pistols I have the .22 High Standard HB target pistol with a couple of boxes of HCI ammo and my Grok 36 with a couple hundred rounds of Gods Own Caliber target ammo. Also, a cleaning kit, hearing protection, and eye protection. I'm a mediocre shooter at best, but I love making smoke and noise.
Let me know where and when, I'm there!

No license required, but they will sometimes ask if it's handgun ammo because they can't sell handgun ammo to anyone under 21, or so I'm led to understand.
