WTB 11-13 GT Mufflers
I'm considering a set of NTO GT Axleback mufflers for the new V6. Anybody got a set they would like to donate? Sell? Trade? I've got a 6 month old set of Eibach sways (05-09) I would consider trading. Also got a single bar strut tower brace I am going to sell.

The GT mufflers are a bit more free flowing and have a deeper sound. I thought about Bassani or something like that but all the sound clips I have heard have had a lot of popping on decel and a much more raspy sound than I want.

Yes but no one is giving the gt500's away. I think almost all of us with the 11-12 models have the axlebacks sitting around. Though I do think you will have to do some chopping and welding because the v6 uses a different pipe size. Mid pipes are 2.25 for the v6 and 2.75 for the gt. Muffler shop should be able to hook you up, bout 50 dollars or so.

Exactly what Clowe1965 said. Sure I would love a set of the GT500 or even Boss302 mufflers but no is going to be giving those away.
I have heard a lot of exhaust clips and almost all of them have a lot of popping on decel and get a raspy, even blatty sound. And not to mention the drone out of some of those systems. With the V6 it would be really easy to end up with a ricer sound and I DO NOT want that.
The GT mufflers will fit with no problems, just a small expansion pipe as was already mentioned. I would just trim the GT's and have a short pipe welded onto them so I could always go back to the stockers if I wanted to. The GT's have a deeper tone and are slightly more free flowing than the sixer mufflers.
If I could get a set at the right price I could certainly try them out and if they don't do what I want I could always go back to OEM.
Alan, what would you take for those mufflers?

Since you think they will work for you, how about $5,000. Is that fair?
Call me sometime and we will work out a deal, maybe we could meet you and Kim for lunch/dinner sometime soon. I don't really want to ship them.
