My "other" woman...
Hey guys, put a post up in one of the other threads that I had run across a great deal on another Mustang. Well, picked it up the middle of last week, and got to work. The car is a Windveil Blue 2005 GT 5spd w/ 43K miles. A good friend of mine bought the car for his wife to drive, and now she was tired of it.... so her loss, my gain. Really pretty much stole the car, and the only mods are a CAI (off brand which will get replaced), tune, and Flowmasters. Here are a couple of pics...
So I have a set of FRPP lowering springs in the garage and I am going to a good friends shop one night this week and install them, but in the meantime I stole the wheels off the Shelby and put them on the GT. Gave it a completely different look.
I can't wait to get the springs installed, it should set it right down on top of the tires, and hopefully give it the look I am shooting for. Probably going to look at doing some suspension upgrades for this car, but probably nothing in the HP area. Main thing is to get a little spot on the front bumper fixed, get some wax on the rest of the car, and clean up under the hood because it is FILTHY... oh yeah, I also need to go to the tag office... had to "borrow" the tag off the Shelby till the title comes back and I can get a tag.

Very nice. It looks pretty clean Steve. Good luck keeping your fingers out of the engine bay! I guess since you have the monster GT500 maybe you'll be fine.

Thanks jeff! I had been thinking about a personalized plate for it, and since the GT500 plates are about due to come up next month I had actually though about using a play on an old saying for the tags on each of them. "ONCEBITN" on the Shelby, and "TWICESHY" on the GT. PLus, it was a pretty cool song back in the day lol.
