Default Car is in the Shop

Sorry I haven't been around much the past few weeks. School is in full swing and things are crazy with all the projects. I actually just finished one that is due at 3:30 today. That coupled with football season (eats my weekends) and every time I do get on here I have 20 PMs dealing with the Fantasy Football League has me stretched pretty thin.

My car is a bit messed up currently. Long story short is that I was parked in the grass at night and turned onto a depressed drainage grate. I basically dumped the front of the car on the bumper. Thankfully the Cervinis part is boss and it didn't crack at all. However, it bent so much that the paint split all over the bottom half of it, and the support brace popped the little plastic pins that connected it out. I had to drive around with the support brace taped up to the bumper for about 4 days before the body shop could take it.

The guy said it looks purely cosmetic and it'll just be a re-attach of the support brace and a repaint of the bottom half of the bumper. I was pretty upset about it (for me...I don't really get upset in general terms) but I realized it was just a simple mistake, and the ditch was so deep it would have torn up my old front end too. I just hope the support brace is okay, as it got a little torn up when it was dragging on the ground for about about 50 yards before I could stop and fix it/rig it.

So, they took her in yesterday and will be giving her back "towards the end of the week." I'm assuming Friday. They haven't called yet, so I'm hoping they haven't had to epoxy anything.

Anyhow, just an update. Hope everyone is doing well.

She'll be fine. Just a pain to go without a car when I live off campus.

Did that in my old car, dropped it off a 6"straight curb straight onto the subframe. Nothing like that metal on concrete slap in the face. Sorry dude.

Thanks for the support everyone! I swear, any damage to these cars is like an argument with a significant other. Horrible feeling.

She's back in action and looking stunning as usual. So glad to drive her again, I've been either hitching rides with people, riding the bus, or driving my roommates Civic for 4 days!
