Default Sunday afternoon drive....

Well, went out for a little Sunday drive yesterday.... to the dragstrip! Back in my natural element lol!! I got to make 3 passes, and it had been so long it took a couple of times to get used to it again. Not to mention the tune that Dan put in my car completely transformed it into a complete animal at lower rpms. First pass I actually had to get off the gas, gather my wits, and get back under power. The second pass I got a little better, and the third pass was the best... ran a 7.09 @ 108mph , which would translate into 10.70s @ 135 in the 1/4 mile. That was pedaling the gas in first gear and not powershifting the 1-2 shift due to wheelspin. So it could have gone a lot faster, these passes were taking it pretty easy out of the hole. On a good day with traction, 10.30s at 138-139 mph are possible. Anyway, here are the videos, thought I would post them up and redeem myself from VIR lol!!!

I knew that your car sounded good but damn it really roars when you get on it.

(I know you don't want to hear this, but....) The longtubes made all the difference in the world with the sound. It is actually pretty quiet until WOT... then it gets down to "biz-ness".

HAAHAHAHAA!!! That was so wrong!!

But in all seriousness, I got to listen to yours a little the other day on the way to and from VIR. It was really pretty tame but had a nice rumble to it.
