So it started without the maf sensor being plugged in?

Yep. Ran like crap. Idle was unstable, but it ran.

Huh, thats surprising the computer doesnt have an interlock to prevent startup if its unplugged. Glad nothing fried for ya.

Took the car for a short drive this afternoon. Had to search a bit to find a clean and dry road. Throttle response is much better, and it shifts much quicker and firmer. Seems to make a good difference in power too. Definitely worth the money.

Have to fix a leak somewhere on the pass side. Other than that the exhaust sounds pretty sweet. I'll get some videos once I get the exhaust leak fixed.

Dan, get some exhaust....they can't void your warranty for it :-)
I know where there's a cheap set of Flowmaster Hushpowers for sale...and a tuner and CAI

I have the GT500 axlebacks, and plan on getting a set of Boss side pipes, the tune is what I don't want to get right now. My previous ride had headers, tune, cai, full exhaust and upgraded suspension. It didn't have a flash counter on the ecm so much harder for GM to detect the tune.... but Ford seems to have that under full check.
