I removed the body from the frame and finally was able to get out and get some pics.
The story I got when i bought the car is that the PO had his shop(no he didn't do any of the work) start the resto. The frame was supposedly done and the body was the next step..so..

And now we get to part that concerns me. This doesn't look good. All of the body bolts line up but this still has me pretty worried.

This is the area under the wrinkle in the previous pic

Just to give perspective..The location of the more serious wrinkle is just behind the front suspension under that brace while the wrinkle on the top of the frame is just off camera.

I was planning to pull the engine and trans and give the frame a good pressure washing. If I need to pull the suspension components I will but I will wait to see what comes of the cleaning.
The body is going to blasting next week. I know I have some work to do there too.

A Ford small block fits perfectly in the Triumph frame..a Coyote powered TR6??
Hmm..430 HP in an 1800 lb car. Now THAT could be fun.
Although I doubt that frame could handle it. At least not in that condition.

Have over 1000 miles on the Raptor now. Here are some of my first impressions.

Definitely faster than the 3.5, doesn't FEEL faster though. Part of that is the 10 speed, part suspension. I keep finding myself doing maybe twenty mph faster than I would have guessed.
Not crazy about the 10 speed yet. Shifts fine, but it's a little clunky once in a while. My wifes 15 does the same thing, but my old one did not.
Interior is about the same as any F150. Everyone loves the orange accents though. Seats are better than the 15.
Wheels are awesome and the tires are HUGE!

Couple things I would change. Wish I could get a 6.5 ft bed. The suspension could maybe be just a little stiffer in the rear (I know they don't plan on a guy hauling 1000 lbs of tools).

Overall, I kind of feel like this thing was almost made for ME. It's loud, it's fast, high ground clearance, and of course it looks fantastic.

If an Escalade and a tricked out Jeep had a baby, this would be it.

Cool work David. Did you start a dedicated build thread anywhere? My boss wants to start on his TR6 sometime this year.

Chris are you sure it doesn't feel faster because you are accustomed to driving your mustang on the same roads at 100?

Thanks Clint.
No I haven't started a build thread. I guess it isn't so much of a build at the moment as it is a teardown.
I am getting ready to put my welding skills, or lack thereof to the test.
I found a guy who has a TR6 frame that is damaged in the back. He is cutting the drivers side frame rail off and I am going to cut mine and weld in the new frame rail.
So it will get cut at the crossmember under the engine back to the first body mount.
Luckily my Dads next door neighbor has been a professional welder for 50 years and currently teaches welding at the local vocational school. He told Dad he would be glad to either supervise if I want to try it or he would just do it himself.
After this repair I have a local shop with a frame table who will put it on the table and check it for 150 bucks, then 65 per hour to tweak it.
I have all the factory measurements for the frame so i am going to get it as close as I can.
Here's a picture of the replacement frame rail.
