Well I have one derelict jeep in the back yard and one exhaust less and fwd jeep in the garage. Let's just go ahead and add another derelict to the front yard while we are at it.

Guy turned out across traffic at a blinking light and I couldn't stop. He didn't help matters by being too slow. Bumper is pushed back about 1", lost a fog light and the fender flare but doesn't appear to be any body damage. Something is bent though, the steering wheel is 180 degrees out from where it should be.

Jessie and I are ok, just annoyed from waiting for 4 hours for HP since the guy wouldn't admit fault. And she is upset since she won't have her jeep while it's getting fixed, so we are down to 1 working vehicle right now.

Glad no one was hurt. Front bumper took the worst of it from the pictures.

Man that sucks Crint.
From the look of the toe out on those front tires it definitely bent something. Although if it was a tie rod it would have caused toe-in.
Glad everyone is OK.

Glad you guys are OK, sorry about the Jeep. Why did it take so long to get HP to get there?

That sucks Clint, glad the two of you are OK.

I'm getting to track down a sudden overheating problem on the Subaru. I would hate to find out it is another set of head gaskets since they were just replaced this past summer. Eldest Boy is driving it since his car is broke down again, it boiled over on him on Friday night. He found a couple of hose clamps that needed to be tightened and it seemed to be OK after that, but Monday morning it boiled over on him again. Seems only to happen when the heater is turned on. The Subi forums suggest maybe an air pocket in the cooling system, I'm hoping that is all it will be.

Yeah we got lucky. Impact was probably 15 mph or so.

Not sure on the toe in/out. Drives fine for the most part. The collision didn't push in far enough to hit the steering components, but possibly it did hit the tire. Now we have to play the waiting game with insurance.

HP was tied up with other accidents with injuries, any bad weather and everybody loses their minds! Not sure why the county police couldn't handle it, I seem to remember them doing doling out tickets and blame to my 16 year old self just fine.

They don't put heater valves on those do they? Could be isolating the heater core until warm up or the heat is turned on? Stuck thermostat, eroded water pump, even a broken fan clutch/electric fan could do it. I'm guessing you've replaced all of those recently though.
