Here's a few crappy pics. Sorry my camera isn't the best at close ups.

What's even worse is the Ford dealer is sending it to the neighbor Toyota Dealer to have it sanded and repainted. He promised me that they are great and would match the paint perfectly. Not too sure of this now but guess it needs to be done.

Yes I had a Blue 06 that bubbled from under the hood to the front leading edge on both sides. The hood is aluminum and it corrodes with a white powder. The paint flaked off the under-side but the bubbles didn't rupture. I believe it's because the hood metal is folded under and the seam at the front lets moisture under the paint.

It's car leprosy, or maybe Car-ppies simplex II.

Heres mine. Dealer sent me to another body shop to get the work done too - I was like

Good luck with the fix!

Yeah, the factory paint that Ford uses sucks! Mine were bubbling and peeling all over.

Better than the paint that GM uses though. I'll keep an eye out on mine. Thanks for the heads up OP.

For some reason Mustang paint quality has been an issue for year. Thin paint, trash in the paint, bad prep work etc. I hoped the new plant would change that...It didn't.
