One of the organizers is a friend of mine, I will see if he can accomodate TWO cars.

Any and all are welcome to come by the house and get rid of the bugs if you would like.

Jeep, he had a hard top but it was located at a friend's house. Now those plans have fallen through, he never went to pick it up. What to do with a free saturday?

Uhhhhh Lenoir? LOL

Sleeper_GT 08-03-2013 08:43 AM

Y'all have a good one.

DK Pony 08-03-2013 07:58 PM

Hope the weather is good for you and a good turnout. I'm sitting in a truck stop in LA. Nice weather but its always better at home.

alan0614 08-03-2013 09:25 PM

Dave, it was super hot but a great turnout. 620 cars and at last count 45 Mustangs.

Sweet! Sounds like the ponies were well represented. I'm hoping we can make it down next time.

Sleeper_GT 08-03-2013 10:37 PM

That's awesome....I guess I really missed some photo opportunities. Glad y'all had a good time.

Grover_NC 08-03-2013 10:50 PM

Wow that is a lot of cars. Hate i had to miss this one. Hopefully i will be off for the next one.

alan0614 08-04-2013 06:51 AM

There were some interesting cars there, 915hp Shelby, 1923 Cadillac, a few "WT is that" and many that you have already seen. We did miss the rest of our crew though.

Steve was distraught having to drive by himself, he ordered a club sandwich instead of a cheeseburger.

SHOHORSE 08-04-2013 10:16 AM

The only time I really started freaking:icon_hyper: out was when my chocolate milkshake order turned into "Mission Impossible"

alan0614 08-04-2013 05:14 PM

When the chick broke the blender with Steve's milkshake in it and then told him they were now out of chocolate ice cream it almost got ugly. A couple deep cleansing breaths later, we found some triple chocolate and another blender - crisis averted.

Sleeper_GT 08-04-2013 05:19 PM

I can see how that could have gone bad.

kzonts 08-04-2013 08:32 PM

Glad that crisis was averted. Chocolate ice cream withdrawal is a bitch! :-)

Zodiac 08-04-2013 08:45 PM

So wait... was the terror alert raised because Steve couldn't get a Chocolate Milkshake!

Allupinya 08-04-2013 08:49 PM

I really would like to make one of these before I take off. The track event on Saturday was awesome! I made a fool of many Corvette owners, a group of Corvette guys swore I had a power adder.

Sleeper_GT 08-04-2013 09:03 PM

Silly Vette....LOL

DK Pony 08-04-2013 09:59 PM

Sounds like a great time. Glad to hear the "Great Milkshake Disaster of 13" was contained and our elder member is still with us. Who knows what could have happened.
Going to a place called Future Foam in High Point NC for Tuesday delivery.

You evidently have not been between Steve and a chocolate milkshake.

One of our local Mustangs is a 12 Boss, he told me Saturday "I can't hang with you Shelby boys on the street but if we put them on the track that's a different story". Glad you had fun Jason.

There are two more, September 7 and October 5. Come join us if you can.

RoushFnatic 08-05-2013 12:23 PM

I can't get around Sho on the road, but my triple caramel shake did pass him in the pits when he had the blender breakdown. That was a sad look on his face when they handed me mine and he had already been waiting for some time. I am gonna lable it as somewhere between bewildered and astonished turning into something angrier! I was worried for the ice cream girls well being at one point.
