BOOB: Big Ordinance Overriding Bouncer
This device is used to absorb a physical blow to the upper body as is common when resisting the recoil of an assault rifle. Two ***** are attached to the chest and use internal fluid dampening to prevent the recoil from traveling to the rest of the wearer's body. Four sizes are available, ranked from A-D. Any size can fit the wearer's frame, but the user must trade extra weight for recoil dampening effectiveness. When used for extended periods or with a large repeating rifle, the wearer may opt for a BRA (BOOB Restraint Attachment). The BRA increases the ***** effectiveness by distributing the load of the ***** across the wearer's upper body to prevent fatigue induced BOOB sag.
