Default eaton from 03 cobra on an 06 gt, possible?

eaton from 03 cobra on an 06 gt, possible? Is there like a kit or custom make something. Or just don't even bother. Motors are similar except for cobra being forged internals.

Possible, but the only cheap thing about it is the factory cobra blower. I can't remember what the company was, but someone makes a kit to do it. However, by the time you add it all up it's not that much cheaper than buying a kit made for your car.

I don't know about the 03 Cobra blower, but Department of Boost makes a manifold for the GT500 supercharger. I've been considering supercharger options myself and I found the GT500 SC+DoB manifold and various supporting parts was roughly the same cost as piecing together your own centri suprecharger system. Both were a good bit cheaper than most kits. I think I calculated the total price to around $3000-$4000 while most kits are about $1000-2000 more. Of course it depends on exactly how much power you want to make. The GT500 supercharger may not be enough.

uuuhhh...the motors are not similar...
The cobra motor is also a 4-valve, while the 05-09 4.6L in the GT's is a 3-valve.

Not saying this can't be done, but it just seems like a recipe for disaster.
Those M112 S/C are great for the early year Cobras and GT's...not so sure you'd get what you're looking for out of it on an 05-09.
For what you're going to spend in converting it, you'll prob be right at the same price for a brand new Whipple thats going to give you the same results and will bolt right onto your car.

Torque Tech makes a kit I know for the 03-04 blower to work on a 2 valve...never seen anything for the 3 valve cars though...
